University of Balamand (UoB)

Faculty

UoB offers 64 undergraduate programs across 8 faculties and 1 institute.

Five campuses: Al-Koura (main, North Lebanon), Dekouaneh (ALBA's historic campus near Beirut), St George Hospital University Medical Center (Achrafieh, for FOM clinical), Souk El Gharb-Aley, and Beino-Akkar (Issam M. Fares Faculty of Technology).

The university follows the American system of liberal education. ALBA's Dekouaneh programs use the European ECTS system instead, taught primarily in French.

Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA)

ALBA was founded in 1944 and integrated into UoB in 1988. It runs two campuses: Dekouaneh (the historic campus, French-track, ECTS) and Al-Koura / Balamand (English-track, US credits).
